Training Tip 101: Optimizing Your Groove

When doing Cardio (or any workout that will lead to intense sweating), ensure that you are using earbuds.  If not, your stanky sweat can ruin headphones!  And obviously, there is no way to wash the odor away :)

This is a lesson my hubby learned the smelly way.

​Additional reasons I groove & move with earbuds:
  1. $$$.  Costs ranging from $1-$15 its much more cost affordable than Headphones with entry level gear costing $20-$40.  This also makes replacing them less painful.
  2. Easier to clean/sanitize with wipes
  3. The pocket size makes easy to transport anywhere, for on the go music and audible-book enjoyment
  4. Being light and with no rigid wiring areas, they are nearly unnoticable while training.

So unless you have cauliflower** ears or really despise the feel of buds in your ear, avoid those stinky headphones that are inevitable when you train to sweat...and grove with buds instead!  

**my dearest cauliflowered friends- i am sorry.  grab a cheap speaker, learn to grove to the gyms wretched tunes, or prepare yourself for constant headphone un-smellification re-investment**
